Brock ISD Administration would like you to complete our End of the Year Parent Survey.  In effort to get a clear picture of your thoughts about each campus, we would like for you to complete a survey for each child you have attending Brock ISD.  Information collected about each campus will provide constructive feedback and aid with planning for the 2017-2018 school year.  We value your opinion and appreciate your time, we realize this is a busy time of the year for families.

Eagles Baseball Win Area

The Brock Eagles defeated the Early Longhorns to advance to the Regional Quarterfinal round of the playoffs.  The Eagles will take on the Jacksboro Tigers starting on Thursday.  

Game 1:  Thursday May 18th @ 7:00 PM at Arlington Heights 

Game 2:  Friday May 19th @ 6:00 PM at Graford

Game 3:  If needed will be played on Saturday, May 20th @ 1:00 PM

Adults:  $5.00     Students:  $3.00

  Lady Eagles Softball Advance to Regional Semifinals

The Brock Lady Eagles will face the Alpine Lady Bucks in the Regional Semifinals at Lubbock Christian University.

Game 1, Friday May 19th @ 7:00 p.m.

Game 2, Saturday May 20th @ 1:00 p.m.

Game 3, 30 minutes after Game 2 if necessary

Adults     $5.00          Students     $3.00

High School Wins District UIL Academic Championship

The Brock High School UIL Academic Team captured the District 7-AAA Academic Meet Championship on Wednesday, March 22nd.  The meet was held at Brock High School.  The team performed exceptionally well and scored 519 total points to outdistance 2nd place Cisco (395 points) and 3rd place Tolar (246 points).  Brock also captured team events in Accounting, Calculator Applications, Journalism, Mathematics and Speech.  Individual 1st place winners for Brock were Brooklyn Booth in Accounting, Lindy Drillette in Calculator Applications, Ashley Brawner in Mathematics and Taylor Hayes in Headline Writing.  Congratulations to all the high school academic competitors for their fantastic efforts and also to Mrs. Hall and the many talented UIL academic sponsors for their outstanding performances at the District UIL Meet.  The results for individual Brock students are available at the link below:

 Primary Campus Design Video

WRA Architects has released a Brock Primary School design video to show a 3D overview of the plans for the new school that is scheduled to begin construction later this summer.  The campus is scheduled to be completed by the start of the 2018-2019 school year.  The design and construction of a new campus that will serve our youngest students here at Brock ISD is an exciting time for our district.  A link to the design video can be accessed here:  Brock Primary School Design video.

Brock Boys Basketball Complete Outstanding Season

Congratulations to the Brock boys basketball team on an outstanding season that began with an undefeated district campaign and a District 7-AAA championship, a Region I championship and ended with a trip to the state tournament in San Antonio.  Their playoff run began with a win over City View in Bi-District followed by wins over Colorado City and Bowie in the Area Round and the Quarterfinals to a trip to the regional tournament where they defeated Wall 63-48 in the regional semifinals and beat Canadian 40-36 in the Region I final.  The regional championship earned the team a trip to the state tournament where the Eagles met Jarrell in the state semis.  They defeated Jarrell 46-43 before losing to Dallas Madison in the final by a score of 42-36 to finish as the runner up in Class 3A to complete an outstanding season.


Brock Tennis Competes in the State Team Tennis Tournament

The Brock Tennis Team completed the team tennis portion of their season with a 4th place finish in the TTCA State Team Tennis Tournament in Round Rock. The team defeated Knippa in the first round followed by a win over Ingram Tom Moore in the second round.  The team then lost to Wall in the semis and then lost a very close match to Reagan County in the 3rd place match by a score of 10-9 to finish 4th overall in the state.  16 teams from 8 regions qualify for the tournament held annually in the Round Rock, Leander and Georgetown area.  Since Brock began participating in team tennis in 2008 they have qualified for the tournament 9 out 10 years winning the region 8 times.  The team has never finished lower than 5th at the tournament.  Congratulations to the tennis team on an outstanding team tennis season.  The team will now gear up for individual tennis with the district tournament to be held in Brock April 3rd and 4th.


Austin Pitts Wins Congressional Art Competition

Congratulations to Austin Pitts, a senior at Brock High School, for winning the 12th Congressional District’s Artistic Discovery Contest sponsored by the U.S. House of Representatives. The Congressional Art Competition began in 1982 to provide an opportunity for members of Congress to encourage and recognize the artistic talents of their young constituents. Austin won the 2017 competition with his art piece called “Union”. His work will be professionally matted and framed by Congresswoman Kay Granger’s office. The artwork will then be transported to Washington DC where it will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol. Austin will also receive two airline tickets to Washington DC this summer and has already been offered two scholarship opportunities to art schools. Brock ISD would like to extend a huge congratulations to Austin, as well as his Brock High Art Teacher, Mrs. Sue Brunner. Congratulations on a job well done!

Brock Solo & Ensemble Sending Students to State

Brock Band students competed at the UIL Solo and Ensemble Regional competition on Saturday, February 18th. All the competing students received a First Divison.  Attending students were Brennan Freeze, Hollie Green, Emily Metzler, Declan Smith, Sarah Bussell, Katie Jackson, Josie Thompson, Elizabeth Garcia, Peyton Wakefield and Robbie Doshier.

The following students have advanced to the UIL State Competition in May:

Brock ISD 2015-2016 3A Lone Star Cup Champions

The Brock ISD won it's second consecutive Lone Star Cup for Athletic and Academic excellence for the 2015-2016 school year.  Outstanding seasons for Brock Football, winning its first football state title; Boys Golf winning state for the second consecutive year; and Tennis winning the state individual points, helped put Brock ISD in the lead statewide.  Also contributing were strong performances in Girls Basketball, state runner-up; Girls Softball, state semi-finalist; and regional finalist in Boys Baseball.  These efforts catapulted Brock to its fourth Lone Star Cup title.  The Brock ISD wishes to congratulate the students, coaches, teachers, parents, and community for their support of the district and this impressive accomplishment!

The Brock ISD will be offering all parents access to the district's learning management system, Canvas.  Canvas will act as a hub for each teacher and student in the district.  With a parent account you will be able to view any materials that are published by your student's teacher as well as your student's online calendar and activities.
